THE THIRD annual Insurance Day cricket tournament took place last Friday, with 12 teams from across the London market battling it out for the coveted trophy.
Torrential rainfall over the Brit Insurance Oval on the previous day had raised some concern that the tournament may be under threat. Fortunately, however, the rain stayed away on Friday morning and the teams walked out on to the hallowed turf shortly after lunch.
David Mitchell, Senior Vice President of IT Research at Ovum, has been named EMEA Analyst of the Year by The Institute of Industry Analyst Relation's (IIAR).

Dr Richard Hill has been awarded the Robert L. Noble Prize by the National Cancer Institute of Canada, in recognition of his work in cancer research. The Robert L.
